Situation is at No 6 Furnace Place midway between its intersection with Forge Road and Ingot Place. Furnace Place is sealed with concrete kerbing, channelling and footpaths on both sides. This is one of the more recently formed roads within the Silverdale industrial estate. On Furnace Place there is a development known as the “Auto Centre” comprising well known entities such as VTNZ testing station, Cornish Truck and Van and Bridgestone Tyres etc. Also on Furnace Place are also various yard platforms occupied by Hick Brothers and Downers together with larger platform occupied by Allied Concrete and Highway Stabilisers.

Location and Locality:
The property is located within the Silverdale industrial region which is at the base of the Whangaparaoa Peninsula, approximately 1 km east of the intersection of State Highway 1 and East Coast Road and a further 500 metres from the motorway interchange. The locality is some 35 kilometres north of Auckland City and three kilometres south of Orewa. Silverdale is the major industrial area for the Hibiscus Coast.
